My husband and I have traveled from Australia🦘 to visit our daughter who is studying at Alfred State College.
Our favourite start to the day is to have breakfast here😀 Really good food at affordable prices, friendly staff and a fun relaxed atmosphere…..Highly recommend☕️💕
Awesome diner. Walked in for breakfast, was seated promptly, order taken and food came out mad quick. Breakfast dishes were better than expected. Spinach feta and sausage omelette was made perfectly. Service was attentive and super friendly.. highly recommended
Boy oh Boy I was here in town to bring a group of high school students to visit Alfred state for a tour, by the time we arrived I was FAMISHED. I googled food near me and The Collegiate was the 1st location to pop up I had already decided what I was gonna order from looking at a menu I saw on Yelp I was so undecided so i ordered The Jack Plate it had a little bit of everything on it 1French Toast 1Pancake 1 strip of bacon 1 sausage 1 large scrambled egg ( Well any way you want it) and Home fries the home fries are the best they were seasoned to perfection and cooked down with onions oh My goodness I couldn’t stop eating them the food was absolutely Delicious…. my Lord, the Carrot Cake!!!!! It was so moist you can taste all the spices that carrot cake is supposed to have and the cream cheese frosting did me in I’m STUFFED I do declare, every town needs a COLLEGIATE with great service, Great Food at fair prices I wish I didn’t live so far so I could try more than just the Breakfast. I live in Rochester 1hr 30min drive. I should’ve taken the picture of the carrot cake before I started eating it but I couldn’t help myself.
When you think of a college town diner, this is it!
Tons of comfortable seating and cool decor. Good food at a great price! Service was fast and friendly.
Great Restraunt! The food was really good, and fast service. Definitely will go back the next time we are in the area.
