I wanted to love this little diner. I miss old America and the old style, local diners. Sadly, this diner failed in several ways-but they can all be corrected with staff changes. The interior is old and dated, as one would expect-however, it could be cleaner. While the menu is large and very inexpensive-and food smells and taste great-it’s served with grumpy staff. The older lady waiting tables seems very unhappy, she is unpleasant, and not welcoming. Had she offered the old style charm one would expect from an old time diner and someone of her age, the place would have been a great step-back into time and a great experience. Sadly her attitude and gruff ruined the experience for me.

The food at Anna’s is always good, it’s my favorite place in town for omelettes . The service is great, and there is always some delicious desert to take home for later. We enjoy supporting independent, family owned businesses in town and Anna’s makes that easy to do!

Fantastic little Greek luncheonette – the portions are just right, and the food is consistently excellent. Best place for gyros in the area. The baklava is delicious and homemade.

Used to be the best place. Went today for lunch. Specifically asked if the soup was orzo, was told yes. It came, not orzo and also not hot. Ordered a special sandwich with no tomatoes. Said it twice, no tomatoes. Came out with tomatoes. Told the girl who brought it back to the kitchen and within 30 seconds it was back. I opened and saw they just removed tomatoes instead of remaking. When she finally checked on us I handed her back the sandwich and told her they just took off the tomatoes. She then began to argue with me that I didnt tell her no tomatoes. HELLO IM ALLERGIC TO TOMATOES. I even asked the person I was with and confirmed I did say no tomatoes. She kept it in the kitchen until my friend was done eating then brought me back the exact same sandwich with extra pesto on it. I took one bite and immediately my throat got itchy. So I didn’t eat lunch…but had to pay for it. This tells me either the kitchen guy was too lazy to remake it or Peter was too cheap to fix their mistake. Also my friend ordered brown gravy with his fries. It was pure flour and water, it wasnt even brown. This place has gone down hill over the past couple of years. Keep trying hoping it got better again but now I know why there were only three tables there during lunch.
