I went to Billy Joe’s Ribworks last year, it offered a feast not just for my appetite but also for my eyes. The ribs were amazing, slathered in a smoky, tangy sauce that was finger-licking good. The sides were a perfect match, with creamy mac and cheese and crispy fries. But what truly took the experience over the top was the view from the deck. As I tucked into my meal, a stunning rainbow stretched across the darkening sky, framing the Hudson River and the rolling hills beyond. The mix of nature’s beauty with delicious barbecue made for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to stop at Billy Joe’s for the view and the food—it’s an unbeatable combo.
If you want some good BBQ, definitely head to Billy Joe’s! Their brisket was amazing and perfect! I loved every bite of the pulled pork and sausage! Their appetizer sampler had amazing fried pickles, the best mac and cheese bites I’ve ever had (trust me, I’m a mac and cheese expert), and actually got me to eat bone-in wings and nachos with beans! Their whipped sweet potatoes tasted just like delicious sweet potato pie with the walnuts they added on top, and their coleslaw was some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were all so super friendly and took great care of us. On top of it all, you get a beautiful view of the water. I will definitely be returning here!
Food was pretty solid. They have this baked potato BBQ mountain that is on my to do list now. The staff were on point and super friendly. The views of the river and Mt Beacon were really nice along with the outside seating. There are a bunch of games to play as well. The kids were busy playing ping pong and Cornhole in between bites of their food. We’ll be back for sure.
Went back and got the porktator shown in the pictures. We sat outside and it started to rain pretty good on us and the staff were super helpful and quick transferring us inside. One guy held one of the table umbrellas for guests to walk em in. The view was pretty cool once the rain started to clear.
My first time here and it did not disappoint our waiter Jay was an absolute gem so attentive and with the friendliest smile. He recommended the kung pao wings so juicy and delicious. My son had the beef empanadas and Mac n cheese let’s just say he’s happy he has leftovers I had the Reuben and sweet potatoes fries and that was a huge sandwich but the tenderness and the portion was huge every bite was delicious. My hubby and mother In law had the surf and turf her with the mash n veggies and he had the baked potatoes and Mac and cheese they were so happily full steak was cooked to perfection at least how we like it medium well. I had the top shelf LIT and yes yes and yes hubby had the double jack and coke and a yes for him lol ok so the ambience was so pleasant I loved the diversity of people just enjoying this beautiful Father’s Day weekend. I loved eating outside and enjoying the view and the breeze was everything it’s definitely someplace I would like to visit again and again kid friendly and just chill. Thanks Jay for making our first experience so nice .
Gabby was an exceptional server. She was friendly and attentive. I did feel like she genuinely enjoys her job, and interacting with people. She recommended drinks that were delicious, and the food was also equally enjoyable. The deck wasn’t crowded, which was a huge plus for me
