I was so excited to try out this restaurant and the expectations were met.
Our server Dounia(apologize if the spelling isn’t correct) was so warm and accommodating as soon as we arrived.
She recommended the biscuits which they make from scratch and you can tell! Homemade garlic butter and blueberry jam for the win.
I had the Spinach Benedict on toasties with a lovely side salad. It was perfect and full of flavor.
My friend has the potato hash with bacon and feta and was also very pleased.
Great cold brew and lattes, we will definitely be back and spread the word. Can’t wait to try dinner next time.
Thank you!
Ambiance (4/5): The venue was decked out in festive decorations for the holidays. It is dark inside with loud music on in the back. There’s a few dining tables toward the front and along the bar but it was crowded with guests. We ventured in the back where there was an assortment of dining with booths and tables so we seated ourselves.
Service (4/5): We already knew our orders and placed them as soon as we were seated. We found it difficult to get service with only 1 wait staff but luckily we didn’t need much attention during the meal. We told the server that the dishes were going to be split and they kindly cut everything and split the dishes for us!
Food (3/5):
French Onion Soup (no rating): I don’t usually order this so I have no comparison to if it’s good or not. My boyfriend said it was not good. I enjoyed the gruyere cheese on top but wasn’t a huge fan of the soup.
QR Burger (3/5): The burger was cooked medium-rare as we had requested! The bbq sauce and caramelized onion gave the burger an extra taste boost however it also made the buns extremely soggy so the burger was difficult to eat. I asked for
I had this place on my “to-visit” list for a long time and i went today -it didn’t disappoint at all.
First, the hostess was extremely helpful and kind, took our names and put us on a waiting list. We went for a walk and they messaged us that the table is ready. Usually other places make you wait outside and I am glad this one didn’t
The waitress was the sweetest lady and at one point the owner (female-led business!!!!) came and asked if I needed something.
The food was sooo yummy. We had Shak-shuka , hash browns, and house made biscuits (which were to-die-for).
The atmosphere is so cozy and vibrant. I love the black couch and the mirror gallery wall.
Can’t wait to go again.
Came for Sunday brunch and made a reservation in advance which I’m glad I did. It was busy and for a good reason! The food was so delicious and the service was impeccable. We didn’t feel rushed at all and had plenty of time to sit and chat at our table. Will definitely be back again!
Loved the latte and the art! Benedict was amazing! Great for two people but it is pricey
