5 Reviews on “Villa Brazil Café Grill”
I have to start by pointing out just how fast a person can get a fresh, uniquely delicious plate of food in front of them self. Either at one of the dinning area tables, or back in your car.
Villa Brazil has some difficult to describe, repeat customer building, unique flavors. Every time we visit here it’s crowded with mostly smiling faces.
The friendly staff & wholeheartedly prepared baked goods serve as a constant reminder. Some of the people working in this place love what they are doing.
FIVE STARS
This is definitely one of my favorite places in Queens. The food and beverages are delicious and the staff is very helpful. The lovely lady at the register took her time in explaining all of the desserts available and we ended up purchasing 2. I can’t wait to go back.
The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review.
Atmosphere: Medium-ish size restaurant, kind of cozy, and clean for the most part. Once you go in, you can go straight ahead to the buffet section and pick your food, whether you’re dining in or getting take-out. Keep in mind that anything you pick from the buffet you pay by the pound.
Service: Okay, service does not only mean the way you were treated but your experience the whole time you were at the place. One of the ladies at the register saw that I was kind of doubtful about what to pick. She kindly described to me one of the choices I wanted to pick, but I did not know what it was. It is not that I did not like that, but I think this could have been avoided if they had just placed the name and description on all the options.
Food: Most of the choices I picked are common, except for the cod fish cakes(a Brazilian recipe). The chicken was okay. The vegetables and guacamole were fresh. Lastly, the cod fish cakes were pretty good. So, I guess the flavors of the food vary from okay to really good.
Price: Since you pay by the pound, I think their prices are decent IF you pick wisely.
Juicy meats and a variety of side dishes, hot and cold salads. Perfectly cooked, not overly seasoned, and professionally priced. I’ll definitely come back for my protein intake.
The food is always amazing here. Every single item is completely Homemade and delicious. I love getting Picaña with Chipa guasu and Feijoada with rice. Lasagna, Stroganoff, Beef Stew, Fried Chicken, Salmon, Potato Salad and more. Plenty of options. Brigadeiro & Dulce de leche cake also a must. I find this place to have the best cakes. They are so delicious!! Generous portions
