Overall good, ready when I ordered it. The lo mein and BBQ pork were dry, needed more sauce. Rice was good, egg rolls crispy and fresh tasting. Reasonably priced. Overall would try other places before going back unless they fix the sauce issue.

The food here is so cheap and disgusting. It is the bottom of the barrel food, at best. Biting into the chicken is like chewing on floss – it’s all gristle and dry. Then they want to nickel and dime you for every substitution. Customer service was just as ridiculous as the people that can’t speak English there. Save your money.

East Wok, Wolf Road, Colonie, is off the list of places I will trust to get food from. I’ve tried soup, lo mein, and other items. I gave them three chances and I got sick every time. There is something unsanitary going on there or the food is spoiled or tainted. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again.
If you want to puke and poop your guts out after a meal, this is the place for you.
I can make food better and safer at home.

East Wok has long been my first choice for Chinese take-out. It is not gourmet Chinese. There are certainly notable places in the area if that is what you seek. I am surprised at the few negative reviews. I only ever order take out so I cannot speak to delivery experience. However, I am invariably satisfied with those items I occasionally indulge in such as the hot n sour soup, lo mein or fried rice usually chicken or pork, Kung Pao or General Tso’s chicken, crab Rangoon, egg rolls and spring rolls. Sometimes I will order the pork Spare ribs which are always delicious if a bit sweet. I have only had one experience of receiving mushy lo mein but that was a highly rare outlier. I certainly have never once become ill from the food. My experience with East Wok has typically been highly satisfactory.
