We are moving out of Great Neck this month, and we did brought in from Golden Garden after not having their food for two years. Everything we had was so much better than we had remembered, and with the best BBQ spare ribs on the bone I have ever had from any Chinese restaurant or takeout. The other dishes were equally good.
Yeah it’s a no for me. The sesame chicken tasted old, the pork lo mein tasted like burnt oil. The egg roll and crab ragoon had almost no filling in it. Had less then half and threw the rest away. Would never order or recommend this place to anyone.
I love eating out or ordering in and Golden Garden has always been one of my favorite places..Food is always fresh and delicious..when i order by phone, Quan Chen is an absolute delight..Always polite and very courteous. Golden Garden is family owned , and Quan Chen is a true asset to the restaurant..So thank you so much for taking good care of us always
Honestly, I have been eating Chinese food all my life and this has to be the absolute worse food I have ever had!! I truly don’t know what it even was that they gave me. I ordered chicken and brocolli but it didn’t even taste like meat!! Please don’t even bother with this place. It makes Great Neck look bad!!!
i had both the veggie lo mein and veggie fried rice. both were absolutely fresh ingredients and delish! im a part time waiter and foodie so trust me on this one. Gonna be my go to chinese from now on. fair prices too..
