Love this restaurant, established in 1801 with a lot of history. Once a speak easy, display of old jugs found on site. Intricately carved wood bar from the 1700’s. I was there for a special event dinner. Food and service was amazing.
Perfect for us place!!! Charming and unique. A Newburgh gem with a long history. Excellent food and very accommodating owners! Im a diabetic and I asked if they had diet tonic for a gin and tonic. Owner went to the market abd picked up diet tonic for me! 🥰
My husband and I made the first reservation on this past Saturday. We are so impressed with how aesthetically beautiful, quaint, and comfortable the restaurant is. We loved Monica’s service. We met the owners who were so kind.
The meals were excellent. I’ve never tasted a better au gratin potato. The filet mignon was superb. My husband and I don’t go out often because we’re introverts but this place is now “our place.”
This is a wonderful place to eat!! We were visiting the area, and wanted a place that was somewhat unique. It was perfect!!! The atmosphere, music, and the food was delicious!! I had the scallops, and my husband had the pasta carbonara. Both were exceptional. Our server was attentive and kind. He made great recommendations. Finally, the owner made an effort to say hello, and check that all was well. What else can I say…it was the perfect date night experience.
