Food: Absolutely delicious, everything we tasted was top notch. Licked the plates clean!
    Service: Super friendly and accommodating.
Vibe: Upscale but not in a snobby kinda way.
Private tables are such a brilliant addition. Full privacy, but it doesn’t feel claustrophobic at all.
Prices are up there, but honestly worth it.

This is the third time we’ve been to Peppercrust and each time we return the experience keeps getting better and better!
The food was amazing, meat was grilled to perfection and everything was super tasty!
Was a little disappointed with the sautéed broccoli as it looked simply boiled and didn’t have any char on it but other than that I have no complaints.
Great environment for kids as well, waiter service is A+, my daughter loved the attention she got from everyone singing happy birthday to her!
If I would have one suggestion I would say, please offer your customers bottled water.
If someone is going to come to your place and spend an average of $200 or more, just include that gesture of bottled water, you’re not going lose money on that.
The tap water was totally nasty tasting but other than that It’s been an amazing experience!

Recently I had the pleasure of dining at Peppercrust in Monsey, NY. I have been hearing a lot of good things about this steakhouse, but am not in Monsey often enough. From the outside you would misled into believing that this was just a simple steak house. The interior is quite beautiful with the wood paneling and strategically placed bottles of wine creating a “partition” of sorts between the sections of the restaurant. They also had some greens on top and a beautiful full bar. I felt like I was transported to a unique and special placed. We settled into and booth and order some dishes.

For our appetizers we started with the soup of the day which was a mixed vegetable soup puree. The soup a fragrant and sweet a delicious surprise. We continued with the Mongolian Beef served with wonton crisps and sweet sesame sauce, the
Crispy Sweet Breads served over sunchoke puree and herb gremolata with some beautiful flowers on top and the Fried Chicken Drumettes tossed in spicy honey garlic sauce. We all expected the Mongolian Beef to be crispy and hard and were pleasantly surprised to find that they were very soft and flavorful. The sweet breads were another surprise. Crispy on the outside because of the deep frying and soft on the inside like one would expect from a sweetbread. The contrast was surprising and delicious. Finally the drumettes which is like a rich man’s chicken wing were scrumptiously sticky. We enjoyed every dish.

I picked only one of the Hors d’oeuvres to try as we didn’t want to fill up before the mains. We went with the Prime Rib Tacos which was the softest meat insider a crispy corn tortillas with pico de gallo and avocado sauce with a side of chili lime. If you love tacos and steak, this is definitely for you!

The waiter approached our table saying that the chef made something special to use that isn’t on the menu. He placed down on the table the most succulent Mango chili slow roasted Lamb Riblets I have ever seen. Now I have heard of mango chili spice but never really tried it, especially on Lamb. The meat was fall off the bone good and juicy. It was one of my highlights of the night. Before your visit, see if its available that night.

Now it was time for the main course. We each chose one. I had to go with the signature Pepper crusted Rib Eye Slow roasted 16 oz. prime rib eye. This steak is not grilled on both side like a regular steak. Its cooked more like a road and then sliced, so the top and bottom aren’t seared. It honestly didn’t matter. It was soft and flavorful and really crusted all the way around with pepper. This is now my favorite steak. My wife went with the 10 oz. surprise Steak, it was really flavorful. I tell most people if you want to see if a place is good order a surprise steak. Lastly we shared the Pan Seared Baby Lamp Chops over wild mushroom Israeli couscous persillade. The Lamb was so soft and juicy and then yellow couscous underneath added a great depth to the dish.

Our meal was also accompanied by three drinks. My wife had the Leechee Passion with gin, I tried the Tropical Sunrise and we tried a non alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri. Clearly their bartender is very talented. The flavors popped in our mouths and we all went with sweet fruity drinks.

I Would love to tell you about the desserts there, but honestly we couldn’t eat a thing by the time our meal was done. If you find yourself in Monsey, stop by Peppercrust and tell Fishel that Yossi Zweig sent you.

The food was beyond my expectations. Amazing experience. The chef’s attention to detail and food preparation is way above the standard that I have seen in a long time.

This place blew my mind, I have been to lots of kosher restaurants and nothing comes even close to Peppercrust.
We came just for appetizers and dessert and every dish was 10/10
The Mongolian beef is the winner with the meat melting in your mouth and an amazing coating and heavenly sauce.
The baby back ribs is falling off the bone soft with a generous amount of beef on the bones.
The chicken drumettes and franch fries were great too.
For dessert we took the chefs made ice cream which was really good.
