Amazing Greek restaurant in queens!! They offer fresh, authentic Greek dishes in an eclectic and comfortable atmosphere. Super cute interior space that’s perfect for a family meal or date night. They also have nice, welcoming staff who were very helpful and kind, especially the owner.
All the food I tried was impeccable! My favorites were the lamb chops and htapodi charcoal grilled octopus, but I loved each dish. The sauces, flavors, everything was fantastic and cooked perfectly.
Can’t wait to go back!
Came here for my birthday with my family. It was pretty empty and it was a very cold night, so I expected that! The atmosphere was cozy and modern. The service was good, although the waiter forgot I wanted grilled scallops instead of fried she made up for it with a dessert on the house, but we ordered more dessert! They only offer wine and beer— no cocktails. The food we had was very tasty and not over seasoned with salt, just right. We also had calamari, not pictured; nor the dessert of baklava. Get here early to find a park or take another form of transportation!
The food was pretty pricey for what it is. Oysters were bland. There are better places in Astoria. Was extremely a quiet night, with only two tables when we were there. Service was good and the atmosphere was great for cosy meals.
I came here for lunch with my family. For starters, as soon as you walk in, you felt the attitude radiate off of the ONE waitress that was there. We were seated, she didn’t greet us, nothing, she was just purely rude. The entire time we dined there, she was so rude up until we paid and left tip. The food was extremely mediocre. I ordered the shell steak, which was fine. The Bronzino was absolutely disgusting. We ordered a salad, it was so small it was about enough for one person. The “fried shrimp and calamari” was beyond me. It wasn’t shrimp, it was prawns and they were NOT cleaned. They had the poop in them still and it was absolutely horrid. The pork and lamb souvlaki were so gross and French fries that came with every meal were practically burnt. I wouldn’t come here again. The environment was unwelcoming and the food was NOT worth the prices.
I am not sure how to review this. We arrived at 1:15pm and ordered 3 iced teas that were freshly brewed with no ice served at room temperature. I requested ice and 10 min later the ice arrived in a glass. At the same time we had given our lunch order: 1 salad, 1 app and mixed grill to share among 3 people. 45 min later, no food, no apology, no water, no tea refill. Then the server acknowledged with a nod from the other end of the restaurant indicating our food would be out. Now 1 hour after we arrived, the appetizer arrived. 10-15 min later the mixed grill and 10 min after than the Greek salad. No apology, still no water, but the food was fresh and very good. So, maybe some more waitstaff training is needed for this owner. A nice outdoor space and lovely inside.
