Do not pass up this local gem. Burgers are amazing, juicy, flavorful, and are chock full of quality ingredients, the perfect mixture of beef, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, perched on-top of a bun that is buttery and toasted to perfection. The fries are no longer the nostalgic steak fries Sutters is known for, rather, your fries are a rustic cut potato, lightly salted to perfection. The chicken tenders were breaded and fried, not greasy, and they were massive. The pieces of chicken you are getting when you order the tenders aren’t your average tenders, you get your moneys worth here people. Wings are massive, crispy, and slathered in teriyaki, buffalo, mango habaneros, or traditional buffalo sauce. The pulled pork nachos combine savory and tangy pulled pork with a wonderful white cheese sauce, piled high on top of house made tortilla chips. This place is HIGHLY recommended.
First time visiting Sutter’s Mill, it’s a great little find! The atmosphere is casual and fun, decorated for Halloween.
The food was pretty good and the beer was frosty cold! The only thing missing is live music, that would be a nice touch!
Dakota took our order, she was sweet and friendly, excellent service!
Check it out, the onion rings and popping jalapeño peppers are great!
The french onion soup amazing!!
Definitely highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
During our journey to NYC, we made a pit stop for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the dining experience here. We opted for the chicken quesadillas, which proved to be quite delightful with their melted cheese, flavorful chicken, and delicious whipped cream. The seafood basket was equally impressive, with perfectly fried scallops, fish, and shrimp. While the interior was slightly dry, it remained moist overall, and the crispy exterior paired well with a glass of beer. The prices were reasonable for the quality offered, making it an ideal spot for both drinks and food.
Really good little place. Staff was amazing. Out food was great.
We live in Tennessee & were here visiting friends. We opted to eat here and although the food was 3 star there were other issues.
1) The restaurant has a cold entry, a door, dead zone, door. The dead zone smelled like excrement. There was a man in the area on his phone so maybe….they opened the outer door to air it out
2) We seated ourselves, but when the waitress brought the menus she did not take our drink order. We did tell her we were waiting an another, but she still should have taken our drink order.
3) When we placed our drink order I ordered sweet tea then was reminded we are in the north, so I ordered a Dr. Pepper, she brought me a Mr. Pibb. I thought about saying something because had she told me they did not have Dr. Pepper I would have went with Coke. She did not tell me, she subsisted my order without giving me any options.
4) My wife ordered a veggie burger wrapped in lettuce, the waitress brought back a regular hamburger with bacon.
5) The restaurant had no regular mustard ANYWHERE in their entire place.
6) She seldom checked on us and I ran out of drink 2xs.
My bill was over $100 but because we are in America where tip shaming is common I still left an 19% tip.
Since we live 845 miles away I doubt anything would ever be done to make any of this right. But I was very disappointed with the service, more so since I was seeing a good friend, and paying the bill.
