A hidden gem in Newburgh. We were traveling back home from North Carolina and decided to get lunch before we got on the Thruway. My wife had the Vegan BLT, and I had the special Salmon Rice Bowl. The rice bowl is absolutely fabulous.
The owner was absolutely pleasant to converse with during lunch.
Fun place, an awesome atmosphere. The burgers were really good!!! Huge beer selection. It was really busy when we were there, but the bartender who took care of us was really polite and efficient. He had a full house and still made sure everyone was attended to. I was impressed. The food came out really quickly, too. They obviously have a great system going!!
Neat decor, good food, hipster vibe but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The rice bowl portions are large, took the rest of mine to-go. The burgers are good and they have a lot of vegan options as well as beer and wine. Dessert menu looked good but I didn’t partake as I was already full from my meal.
Interesting corner watering hole and restaurant. Went for lunch. Burger , soup, and BLT were very good. Big mixed menu. Good beer selection.
Definitely will go back when in Newburgh.
Cool little place in the heart of Newburgh. Easy to get to from the NYS Thruway. The atmosphere is funky, the staff is super friendly and chill, and the vegan options are great. Also, the classic rock music is slappin’, and my wife and I would be singing to the Beatles and the Byrds while our teenage kids were cringing. Bonus!
Four of us ate for less than $100, and we all loved it.
This is a great stop for a hungry family traveling in the thruway. Can’t wait to come back!
