Their Goat Head Soup (Saturdays only) has a lot of lamb chunks but is too oily, and the dumplings in it is just okay. Their fish cakes are huge but have more batter than fish. The only dessert they sell is bread pudding. The staff is friendly to me, but I do not recommend this place. BBQ (The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens) are “where it is at” for the best Jamaican.
Customer service sucks !!. Called to asked about the menu, and bfore I could say something the lady hanged up. I called bk spoke to a guy he sounds like he didn’t wanna talk. I am Jamaican , supporting my fellow man business . If reviews continue to be like this…. And also I have purchased a lot of times, but the last few times the food SUCKS! Seems as if they change cook. And that’s terrible.
It’s very unfortunate to leave this review however I felt it was important because my experience with this restaurant was not good. The food was not good AT ALL. There was not an ounce of Caribbean flavor and some of our rice was undercooked. The oxtail was super greasy and had a horrible aftertaste. I would normally just take the L and move on but the service matched the meal. The young lady that helped my husband was rude and impatient. I would not recommend.

The customer service is the worst part! I hate interacting with the workers, unfortunately. Whenever I go here I dread going in because I know I’ll be greeted by sour faces and nasty attitude, no matter how you try to be nice it’s met with grumpiness and incorrect orders. All 3 of them are equally as bad. I might have to stop going here solely because of the customer service or the lack thereof. Manager/owner needs to fix this.
does anyone know where to get good oxtail from this use to be the best place to get it but they fell off .no kind of seasoning and oxtail was tough like shoe leather. step up your game people . we’re is the original chef i want to eat there
