My go to place whenever I crave authentic Mexican food. As I’m Canadian I cross the border just to eat at this restaurant. The food is amazing and staff is very friendly and polite. Every time I visit I try something new from the menu and it never disappoints me. Must visit if you are craving some authentic Mexican food.
The food we had, while good, was overshadowed by the FLY INFESTATION, Leaky roof, dirty booths and table as well as no paper towels in bathroom.
We killed 6 flies at our table before moving to re-seat elsewhere.
We had the burrito Al pastor tacos and lamb queso birria tacos. To drink, we got margarita, mojito and horchata. The horchata was extremely watered down.
As mentioned earlier, the food actually was decent but the restaurant was unsanitary enough that we determined we would never go back there again.
Super nice staff. Fairly empty on a Friday night at 8. Fair food, nothing at all to rave about my taco fajita salad (I asked for a regular bowl). It was fair but the lettuce was like taco topping lettuce and there were so many refried beans at the bottom (but tasty). There was a fly that kept going around us that was annoying but I don’t think it has to do with sanitary issues.
We accidentally ended up in this little restaurant for lunch. I was genuinely surprised with the quality of the food. Everything tasted very delicious and authentic. Definitely coming back for more.
We had a table for 10 for a birthday celebration. The food was great! I had the chimichangas which were fantastic! The only glitch was while we were waiting for everybody to arrive we asked for drinks, they said just a minute and then ignored us for at least 15 minutes. It wasn’t so busy at 430 in the afternoon that they couldn’t start us with our drinks. From there on drink service was slow but more acceptable since we had a large table. Food service was good. And again everybody enjoyed their food.
Will definitely go again.
