Absolutely. Delicious!! Whole snapper was amazing. Mofongo was authentic and so wonderfully garlicky. But the winner of the meal was the flan. Oh and the mojito!! The red beans and rice could be a meal on their own.
La Fondita is our absolute favorite casual Mexican restaurant in the Hamptons. Order food at the counter and then sit outside on the picnic tables. Everything is great.
The waiter service was terrible. The food was OK. Overall a 3 star experience. We’ll try it next year again and hope for the best
We ordered take out from here one night and ordered the fondita salad with steak. the woman on the phone repeated it to us but then did not enter it in the system so I got my salad without steak. we called to see if we can get a new salad or the steak on the side. she then proceeded to tell us that to get the steak we had to get there in 1-5 minutes(we live 10 minutes away) and on top of that we had to pay for a small portion of steak that she forgot to enter into the system. we had to pay for her mistake that was completely ridiculous! of course we said no that I didn’t want it anymore overall the Customer service here is just completely horrible.
Very good selection of tacos & tortas (sandwiches). They have seasonal aguas frescas as well, very refreshing.
