Wow, Sam is the best. We were visiting from Atlanta and he came and sat at our table and chatted. The pizzas (cheese, bbq chicken and veggie add chicken) and salad were all amazing. While eating a woman was walking her dog and the dog forced her to come into Zio’s. Sam got up, went and got some pepperoni and fed it to the dog. He said every dog gets pepperoni and they know it. It was amazing to see that even the dogs love this place and love Sam
A classic Queens neighborhood pizzeria. They have a handful of tables inside and twice as many outside for dining in milder weather.
The selection of pizzas is nice. I enjoyed a delicuous upside down Sicilian slice and a cannoli.
Service was friendly and quick, even during lunch.
This has to be the best pizza yet in Astoria I am never disappointed the cheese is real the sauce is awesome never cold it’s just delicious. I would say the best in Astoria by far. When it arrived it was hot as if I ordered from it from the corner a must try!!!🤗
Stopped in for a variety of slice with my grandchildren. The pizza is one of the best ive had and i lived in the boroughs for 65 yrs. I miss NY pizza it is a an under rated comfort food for some NY ers. Zio Pepe’s pizzeria is classic NY. Family run with typical Italian attitude. I felt home again thank you!!!!
They should answer the phone.
Too often the phone is not working. Inconvenience that will quickly approach intolerable.
We really enjoy the pizza from Astoria Pizza Factory, also.
