5 Reviews on “Sergio’s Pizza”
Just like NYC, including the price.
Ordered three pies a day in advance for a party at my office, going with a plain cheese, a mushroom, and a BBQ Chicken. On the day of they were ready and waiting at my pre-selected time, and paid for them on site at a hefty $72 before tip.
At that price I was expecting Mr. Beast to walk in and ask for his slice with gold foil topping on it, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and brought them in.
Immediately they were dug into by my fellow hungry employees, hence the missing slices, and many were talking about how good this particular location is. I got a slice each at the time and took a slice each home for dinner, I mean, I spent close to $80, I was not going to be buying more food later that night.
Now the pizza was alright, it was cooked as requested to a more well done quality, crunchier crust, more of a brown bottom, but it was still a tad bit lite for my tastes. (then again I’m a weirdo who likes burnt pizza) Still, it was acceptable enough that by the end of the day the full three pies were empty and the boxes picked clean.
The BBQ was the personal favorite, a very tangy BBQ flavor, slightly sweet, very smokey. The mushroom was nice, but of the three it felt far more soft due to the sheer number of shrooms covering it. And the plain cheese held together pretty well, but the layer of cheese was so thin that you could have mistaken it for thin crust.
Overall, unless you’re ready to open the coffers, just stick to the single slices. The pizza is good enough, but is far too over priced and all the toppings are too.
We decided to give this place a try and ordered a sausage pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was okay, but the quality seemed lacking, especially given the $21 price tag for a one topping. Not sure the sausage would be worth getting if you were adding it as an extra topping for $3 because it did not add much flavor. The experience could have been labeled as mediocre, but was unpleasantly marred by the fact that the staff chose to give us BURNT garlic knots, which is just lazy and unacceptable to serve to a paying customer. I’m not sure we’d order from there again due to our experience.
Best pizza in the area by far. Absolutely delicious and fast. Today I made a mistake placing my order. The manager, upon learning this when I arrived, went above and beyond, personally took care of me to make sure I was happy. The customer service and food is phenomenal. I highly recommend Sergio’s pizza. They have a loyal customer for life now. Thank you Sergio’s!!
I was in the area for business and I wanted pizza. This was the closest place and was awesome. I ordered a large pepperoni and black olive pizza. The staff was extremely friendly and the food delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Just came in from out of town and ordered some sausage and peppers with a slice of cheese pizza. The pizza was great. Perfectly cooked. However, while waiting for my food, a group of boys came in. They forgot their wallet so the staff allowed them some free slices. The staff here is great and kind. Support this place if you can. They deserve the business. Great food and great people, what more can you ask for?
