Capri Pizzeria & Restaurant offers the best pizza in Lake George. They have an extensive menu with many good choices. Their portion sizes are very large. They offer good coupon deals through Local Flavor. Credit cards are accepted but is cheaper to pay cash. Outside of tourist season it is easy to dine inside. Take out is very prompt here as well. Some of the best pizza choices here are “The Queen,” and the “The Godfather.” Stop by if you are in the Lake George region!
I’m a trucker, and as a trucker you get stuck in a lot of places that don’t have the normal food joints like McDonald’s and such, so we get to try lots of mom and pop shops and I can tell you, this chicken bacon ranch pizza was so good that I went back into the store 10min later to buy the last piece they had. Oh man then I got a mushroom slice also and jezz both of them are spectacular. I can tell you out of all the pizza places on the road through 13 states this pizza is by far one of the best and would no doubt rank this in my top 3 all time pizza places I’ve been to. I would highly recommend just stopping in and spending a couple bucks on a slice of pizza from Capri’s it has definitely made my night much better.
Capri pizza is in my personal top 5 favorite pizza shops of all time. Their traditional New York cheese pizza is bomb! Every time I come to Lake George and craving a pizza I come here. The atmosphere and decor hasn’t changed in 20+ years. The inside needs alittle TLC with maybe a good scrub to the walls and new tables. But if your just going for a great tasting slice or whole pizza, capri is it.
A nice restaurant with Italian food-pizza,Mac and cheese,chicken Parmesan,pasta …they had the authentic American old time music box where you can play some old songs.
I recently visited Capri Pizza and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere is fantastic—cozy, inviting, and perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. The cheese pizza was delicious, with a perfect blend of gooey cheese and a crispy crust that left me wanting more.
However, the service was another story. During our meal, our waitress accidentally spilled water on me. Mistakes happen, but instead of apologizing, she seemed visibly annoyed and even rolled her eyes at me. This lack of professionalism and courtesy was disappointing and put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable evening.
In summary, if you’re craving excellent cheese pizza and a great atmosphere, Capri Pizza is worth a visit. Just don’t expect much in terms of service.
