I’ve said this before: Sometimes you find the best pizza in places that look a tad shabby. A large Neapolitan pepperoni pie and an order of fries were just right for a party of four. The pizza came out very fast. Loved the flavors. The fries were essentially standard fare, but hot and crispy. They were also served quickly. Pricing was quite fair. Glad I tried it.
Excellent food. Slices and dishes are generous and tasty. And their sausage pizza is special… Shredded not crumbled so there’s flavor in every bite. No place else does this and I don’t know why.
Service is very decent, but some counter people often seem detached, distracted and almost uninterested in the job. You feel it and can’t ignore it sometimes. Nothing bad enough to complain about really, but enough that it deserves mentioning.
That said, most staff will always greet you when you walk in and make you feel visible and well attended to. In fact this is so consistent and genuine-feeling that it completely offsets the vibe from the counter help I just spoke about.
It’s a dated dining space, but totally acceptable given that it’s just a pizza shop that was built in the 80s, and not trying to be something it’s not. I actually wish more businesses were like this.
We go often and have for years and haven’t been disappointed yet.
I’ve enjoyed the food here, but the sitting areas are not cozy. The last thing I want to do is look at people’s rear ends while I’m eating because they’re picking up or waiting for their order. Would be nice if it was all separate.
My husband and I went for some lunch. I got an antipasto salad, and my husband got a couple of slices. Service was absolutely perfect. The salad was delicious. I’m craving another one 😋 . The hubby loved that the pizza had a crispy bottom and was tasty.
Lived here just over a year and a half and in that time I made it a point to try every Pizza place in Bville to find out which would be my “go to pizza shop”. It’s Gino & Joe’s hands down. Delicious and reasonably priced.
