As someone who has been buying Gino’s pizza for over seven years, the change in quality of their pizzas has been disappointing to see over the past year. Their pizza used to be the best of the best but now their pies are tasteless. It’s like it was made with no salt, the sauce is thin and watery, and to top it all off they charge over FIVE dollars for pepperoni. I can’t justify spending my hard earned money here anymore when their prices have not only increased but their quality has significantly decreased. It is truly disappointing as someone who has been a fan for several years.
It was very busy.. I went in to pick up my food and my garlic knots sauce was a mess it melted from being on the oven the one time I remembered to ask for sauce. I got a Sicilian pie which was great but garlic knots were a little brunt for my son. Not always like this but it is always busy.
For the most part this place has decent stuff. The sauce on the regular is a bit light meaning when it’s said and done it’s kind of on the watery runny side. The dough and cheese are good. And it’s cooked thoroughly with a snappy crust.
I like to grade a pizzeria based on the plain slice along. This is the bread and butter most times if your regular is mastered your good to go.
Ordered a regular pie today and it was burnt on the bottom to the point my children didn’t even want to eat it. I have been a customer for over 20 years. I can honestly say that the quality has gone down a lot over the past year. Please be consistent with the food that you make. Every pie should come out baked to perfection not burnt. Thank you.
