Awesome burgers and fries. Everything is seasoned well and served hot and fresh. My favorites are the chili burger and the crispy chicken sandwich, so freaking delicious. If you’ve been to the beacon location and enjoy the food, it is spot on the same here. There are way more seats at this Poughkeepsie location and a big patio that will be beautiful to eat on as the weather continues to improve. Definitely one of the best burger spots in the area.
They take celiac/being gluten free very seriously! They have gluten free buns, dedicated fryer for fries, and make a note on the gluten-free order to say if it is either celiac or a gluten free preference. The attention to detail was so appreciated and the employees are so friendly. I would recommend this spot to anyone!
So exciting to see MOD open in Poughkeepsie! Love the patio. I’d highly recommend the chicken sandwiches and sweet potato wedges. We love MOD and go all the time – super fresh high quality ingredients. This is a team of farm to table chefs who went into the burger biz, so they do a great job. Their drinks are also so good!
My family would drive all the way to Beacon for these burgers. This new location is spacious and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive, answering all our questions. The food was amazing – some of the best burgers we’ve had. The char on them, plus the seasoning and toppings is unbelievable. I personally love their pickled onions while the rest of my party loved the pickles and pickled jalapenos. The fries were a generous portion and were the perfect thickness. We can’t wait to come back, and plan on making this our go-to burger place in Poughkeepsie.
Fries are really good, drinks are really good, eggplant special sandwich is really good, but their veggie burger is disappointing. It was mealy and so thick it was uncooked in the middle. They need to either make it thinner so it’ll cook through, or change their recipe a bit. If they do improve their veggie patty, I’ll definitely be back!
