When I was looking online for the best restaurants in Lake George, this place kept coming up on the list. With that, I made this my very first stop to try out for dinner over the Memorial Day weekend. When I entered the restaurant, I could see that the place is quite small and dark inside, which, in my opinion, really isn’t an issue like I have read from other reviewers. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the service was pretty fast. The bartender can also whip up a snazzy cocktail as well. The menu is a tad small, and the food is tasty, but some of the items are a bit on the salty side. I ordered the Seafood Bistro Soup and the Scallops. The soup was fine in terms of flavor, but the salt on scallops with the crunchy onions was a tad overkill. Overall, I was satisfied with my first experience and will definitely try them out again the next time I am in the area.
Drinks are good here. They can accommodate my food allergy. Pizza.and mussels were good. The fried gnocchi not so much.. Supposed to have bacon and cheese in it..and I was excited for them..but they have no taste of cheese and bacon and our friends agreed. When I cut a bunch of them open it didn’t look to have any cheese or bacon either on it..I was told it’s mixed in..🤔…but they gladly exchange them for fries which was good.
This is the spot in Lake George. We did several wood fired small plates and it was amazing. We did the Peach Caprese TWICE it was so good. Paul, the bartender provided excellent service! 10 out of 10 I would come here again AND again. IG: @jim.baldwin
The food was good, but it would have been better if it were all served at the same time. My husband waited over 15 minutes after my son’s food was served to get his, and me and my sister got our food a few minutes after my son.
The server didn’t know the specials for that evening, and when we asked what they were he was still confused. He spent the majority of the time flirting with another employee rather than tending to our table.
We had a drink ordered, the Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita and it was AWFUL. I never knew salt could taste like it was expired until trying that drink. We asked to switch out drinks. I gave him the drink back assuming he’d take it off the bill because my husband had barely one sip of it, and instead he charged us for it plus the replacement drink! I’ve worked in the service industry for over 10 years as a server and bartender and I’ve NEVER had to charge a customer for a drink they didn’t like, as long as they didn’t finish it of course (which my husband did not finish his).
The atmosphere would have been good if the employees didn’t look miserable. They barely smiled, had no emotion, and just looked upset to be there.
The food was good, but takeout would have sufficed. At least it would have all been ready on time.
I was excited to eat here seeing all the positive reviews and the Trip Advisor award for 2023, but we will not be going back here again and I STRONGLY suggest you don’t waste your time making a visit here while you visit Lake George.

I do not like this kind of food …
Probably for Americans is also good … I do not know I didn’t try the hamburger but for me better to stay away from here… also the service was not particularly good .
