I’d like to say that iSuffern landmark is a hidden gem butIt really is the same thing it always has been which is a retreat for elderly drunks and marginal food at best.. they’ve made the place look nicer and they giving it an extensive and impressive menu and really made it a comfortable place to hang out so it’s got a lot of things going for it.

It used to have a charming appeal which was your classic Irish dive bar complete with Irish bartender off the boat.

I swear to you this time it look like little Italy exploded and every loudmouth drugs Italian guy had to compete with each other to see who could drown out all semblance of thought by the volume of them telling tales of days gone bye.

I don’t think I’ve ever been in bar where the volume was so loud that I literally had to leave. Keep in mind that this is the volume of multiple people yelling at multiple tables just so that they can scream louder then the people at the other tables.

Owner is a great guy tried to make things right but the service and general meh of the food was meh…..
While it seemed that they had plenty of it took me three requests to get some gravy and a fork.

🫵📍🍀🇨🇮 Irish Pub 🍻 on the border of NY and NJ. Great place to stop in and have a few beverages and watch sports on TV. Food menus are available as well large selection of brews on tap. Service is very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit or few. 👍💯

Nice, friendly, Irish themed pub. Draft beers were good and the fish and chips were one of the best I’ve had around here.

They have no business serving food, it was horrible.I ordered the Curley’s Roast Beef platter. You would think something that has their name on it would be good. It was a quarter pound of roast beef cold cuts over two pieces of white bread smothered in gravy. My wife’s Chicken Caesar wrap was burnt and flavorless. The chicken wings were ok but zero seasoning on the meat just the sauce. Even the fries were bad, all you can taste is the oil no potato. The place smelled like a dirty bar. The best part of my meal was the draft beer. The waitress was very nice. Never again.

We were there for dinner with friends. The selection of beers on tap was outstanding. The food was good and the prices were very reasonable.
