First of all, I don’t understand the 4.1 rating for this place because It is a legit 5 start place!! The atmosphere is super cozy and the service is amazing and we haven’t even talked about the food yet. Everything that came to our table was superb, from the specialty drinks and appetizers to the entrees that you see in the pictures – the appetizer were so good we didn’t even remember to take pictures. If you’re in the Lake George area and want a fantastic meal, come to East Cove!! We will definitely be coming back every time we’re in town.
Girls night to celebrate a birthday. Excellent service right from the start. We weren’t without drinks, whether it was cocktails or our waters. We weren’t rushed at all, which was great, since we tend to talk more than look at what we want to eat! The drinks & bartenders were great. Our waitress was a sweetheart! One person got the seafood platter. The scallops & shrimp were huge, the piece of cod was a very good size, and she said it was delicious. Three of us got the chicken scampi & garlic mashed potatoes. It was delicious! Very good sized portions! We always get a dessert to celebrate the birthday girl. We couldn’t decide what to get so we ended up with all three! We had a smorgasbord of sweets! All of them were soooo good!! Highly recommend! I can’t wait to go back.
We came here for dinner on our most recent trip to Lake George. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was so sweet and friendly, and was very attentive. We had the chicken marsala, shrimp scampi, and the filet mignon. All the dishes were great – the garlic mashed potatoes were some of the best we’ve ever had!! My little nephew had chicken tenders and they were really delicious! The only comment we had was that the shrimp scampi was prepared in a heavy creamy sauce, and typically scampi is made as a lighter butter sauce, so it would have been good to have a note in the menu just describing that. Regardless, it was extremely delicious! This is a really great spot in Lake George that we will absolutely be returning to.
Our second Valentine’s Day dinner was last night. As always, food, service & atmosphere was outstanding, this was our 5th time there.
They did not keep us waiting for anything, well worth the drive around the lake from Bolton Landing!! Keep up the standards you consistently keep, will definitely be back soon!

Staff is warm, helpful & friendly. They also do takeout.
The steak & prime rib are both very good! The au gratin potatoes are unbelievable!
