Bagels are pretty good. Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and a dozen bagel combo. I arrived at around 6:40 am with only 1 person in front of me. I never left until 7:10 am. I received my dozen bagels and cream cheese but had to wait for my breakfast sandwiches. They forgot about my order. The guy that took my order (who I believe may have been the manager) was a prize package. When I first went to place my order, I thought it would be smart to order my sandwiches first so that they could be prepared while the dozen bagels were being bagged. I got snipped at by the man saying to give him my bagel order first and then after realizing my logic, changed his mind. When he saw me waiting at 7:00 am, he asked what I was waiting for. I told him and he said it was being worked on. Five minutes later, he looked at me and asked very rudely what I was waiting for again and I said 2 breakfast sandwiches and very rudely asked what kind. There were only 3 other people that came in after me and they had left, and none of the orders were anything more than bagels and cream cheese. I’d hate to see what happens when it’s actually busy. Hopefully they get their act together. I had been at the Hopkins Road location previously and they were fantastic. I went during their grand opening. The place was jam packed and I received my order very quickly. They had their act together. Went to Main & Harlem because it’s closer to home, but after seeing the disorder, I’ll stick with Hopkins Road.

Disappointed with the newly opened location. Breakfast sandwich on a bagel for $6+ was a joke….the thinnest egg, slice of cheese and minimal portion of ham and overcooked. Jay’s gave you more bang for buck! 5 people working out front counter on a Saturday morning at 9:30 am. Order 1 breakfast bagel sandwich took almost 15 min. and there were 3 customers in the place. Hope it gets better!

Gave my name to the cashier and started spelling it for her and she said “well just call you Jen.” This has never happened to me before but I found it kind of disrespectful especially since my name is not complicated at all and everyone deserves to be called their own name, no matter how complicated. Food is usually fine, although they don’t toast their bagels nearly enough. The team there seems extremely dysfunctional since every time I’ve been in (this is my third time now) they have a customer coming back saying their order was incorrect.

This is absurd. Like, I’m beyond angry and had a little laugh about it. This morning, for the third time in three visits, I did not get what I ordered for my to-go order. Instead of turkey sausage on my breakfast sandwich, I got sliced deli turkey (is that a thing? I was not expecting this). And the cinnamon raisin bagel was something different … no raisins.

What’s almost paranormal about this is that the poor service I’ve received is a continuation of botched orders from Bagel Jay’s and Manhattan Bagel, the predecessors of Brueggers in the same location.

(Why do I keep going? I have a young son who likes the food and they are just around the corner. We probably go there 3-4 times per year. Otherwise I avoid it unless I’m in the mood to be surprised)

Have had good food here before unfortunately the service sucks. I’m cool with waiting in line for 15 minutes to get some good food but how you run out of bacon by 1230? All around a good place to waste 30 minutes of your Sunday just to be told they are out of bacon. You guys can keep your 8$ breakfast sandwiches.
