I came to TRU for a weekend brunch. It was a really nice and open atmosphere, and I was able to get seated right away. I ordered the Nutella pancakes, berry french toast, and home fries. Also ordered an Americano and a mango smoothie. All the food was so delicious!! And the portion sizes were very good for the price. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a nice Astoria brunch spot.
I had brunch with my friends on Sunday and we all loved it. the food was delicious and came out pretty quick, I had the crab Benedict with yuca- best decision!
Even though the place was packed, our server Delilah was amazing, super friendly and kept checking on us to see if everything was good.
Def I’ll be back and will recommend.
This has to be one of our favorite go to spots to have lunch and or dinner with our staff or when we’re in the mood of a night out with our friends and family. TRU Astoria has won our hearts with all it has to offer overall with an amazing experience from the food and down to their staff/ chefs and service we highly recommend them and will be dining here every night and day. Thank you for everything TRU ASTORIA!!
Nice mediterranean Bar/Cafe with a very European vibe. Not very crowded compared to other places in the neighborhood and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Good cocktails with a large drink menu, and a good specials list. The normal menu was surprisingly more American but the specials were all mediterranean.
Dropped by here before my flight to grab some brunch and I’m so glad that I did. Dimitri behind the bar was so nice and attentive. He made me the best oat milk white hot chocolate with a shot of espresso. I enjoyed the Nutella French toast, the fruit was so fresh and crisp.
The menu has everything from salads to sandwiches to pizzas and their breakfast menu is also available until 5pm for my fellow late risers! Their drink menu is extensive ranging from cocktails to every kind of coffee drink any person could dream of. Stop by and get a coffee from Dimitri! You won’t be disappointed! Neo was also such a great manager coming by to check on us!
The venue/ambiance is so beautiful with large open windows allowing fresh air through, a refreshingly modern aesthetic with the VIBES on the music going. Don’t walk here, run!
