    Excellent fish and chips, better than any I had in London in 2 years. Specialty drink menu was diverse and the 4 I sampled were all tasty. Atmosphere is like a nice Brit pub. Server was attentive, outgoing and professional. We’ll be back.

    The Olde English Pub is a beautiful old school pub in the heart of downtown Albany. The restaurant is stunning inside and both the food and service were great during our visit for dinner. We’ll definitely be back to the establishment next time we are in town!

    I’ve been coming to the Olde English Pub for years and have always enjoyed the food and service. Everyone is soo friendly and welcoming! Also Kayla is definitely our favorite bartender! We love the historic vibes and the escape from all the surrounding college bars!

    Service was great. Drink options are decent. Got the candied brussels, bean burger, and the fish and chips which were all pretty tasty. My ONLY nit-picky complaint is that the wax paper on which the fish was served started to deteriorate from the heat and oil and it may have gotten mixed in with a bite of the fish.

    Fish and chips were alright 4 star for the hubby. The meat and cheese platter was good. It was to warm inside for me. They were out of the pot pies.
