I spent 36.00 for 2 medium dinners I called over the phone and the young lady never put my order in correctly I drove a good 25 minutes to get there and then another to get home I noticed there making a lot of mistakes I’m looking for some were else to buy dinner for my family no sweet sauce no gravy and she ask me what I wanted to order but was talking to some one else the whole time I won’t be getting any food there I’m going to go back to Uniondale for my food at least the service is better there is a on going problem but the food is good that’s just a lot of money to spend for bad service not every one cares about your food😳 the food it’s dry though and through on a Sunday this is so wrong
The food is tasty, the atmosphere feels clean and inviting. I really love how the cashier deals with me whenever I place an order she is very polite and smiles and tells me what’s on the menu even when the menu is there. I love to order the oxtails, jerky chicken with cabbage and the fried chicken. 10/10 I would recommend simply by how my order was handle from the cashier to the cook. The best Jamaican restaurant in NY. Hands down.
Had a birthday to attended and wanted to get a few pounds of chicken and they did not disappoint. Best Jerk Chicken ive had in a while! Always flavorful and just the right seasoning. The staff is always very helpful. Their beef patties and oxtail are always on point!

Visiting Tropical Jerk was an absolute delight, thanks to the amazing service from a friendly Rasta Empress who expertly guided me through the menu. Her warm welcome and knowledgeable explanations made it so easy for me to choose from the delicious Caribbean options. I enjoyed every bite of the Barbifry chicken, which was bursting with flavor. I highly recommend Tropical Jerk for anyone seeking an authentic dining experience. A true gem!

From the moment I walked into Tropical Jerk, the vibe was warm and inviting, and the aromas instantly transported me to the Caribbean. What really stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by a wonderful Rasta woman. Her friendly demeanor and detailed explanations of the menu made it so easy to choose from the delicious options.
As a first-timer to Caribbean cuisine, her guidance was invaluable. She recommended the jerk chicken, fry chicken and oxtail, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to smoky perfection. She also suggested the rice and peas, which complemented the spicy chicken beautifully.
Her knowledge of the menu and attentive service made my dining experience truly memorable. Thanks to her, I felt confident in trying new dishes and learned a lot about the unique flavors that make Caribbean food so special.
