Delicious!!! Definitely added to the list of returning restaurants! We started with muscles and crab cakes. The crab cakes are so good, and ALL crab, no filler, so you get what you pay for. Both dinners were equally as good, again the lobster ravioli was all lobster, no filler! They had 3 choices for dessert, I’m not sure if that’s the norm, we weren’t given a menu, just a verbal list. The chocolate mousse was the perfect ending!!
Our server seemed a bit green, just little things like not clearing our table or asking if we needed more water. Overall, it was a great experience!

I found this restaurant by googling restaurants in Bay Shore. My friends and I wanted some dinner and drinks and decided to give this place a shot. I think this is one of the first restaurants that I went to where everyone was happy with their orders even the appetizers! Do try the Barruta and the spinach dip, they were out of this world. My friends also really liked the tenders and tacos photographed. Also try the beer from the local brewery in Lindenhurst. The owner recommended it and my friend and boyfriend loved it. My only minor critique was that the service was a little slow but that gave us plenty of time to socialize. Also I love friendly owners! The owner moved us to a warmer location when he noticed my girlfriends and I were a little cold. Definitely recommend this place for high quality food!

The best & freshest food I’ve had in many years! I had the Tuna with Wasabi, mashed potatoes & asparagus. Oh my gosh!! Great to the palate & senses. Absolute delicious cuisine. Customer service is top notch too & bartender Keith was a delight. I highly recommend!

Went tonight for our first time. First off- I had the best blackberry margarita with fresh fruit. So delicious. Friend had a white cosmo which was also very good. Shrimp tacos were the best I have ever had. Will absolutely be back for more blackberry margaritas and especially Bang Bang Shrimp tacos! The waitress/bartender was working alone but did an excellent job. Friendly, helpful and a hard worker.

I took my mom here as I wanted to take her out on a date together. My mom deserves to get out and enjoy the lovely weather we have been getting up in the Long Island area. We came to this spot (by the way it’s called “American Standard”). I think the bar/restaurant change the name.

This spot offers live music, we enjoyed a guitarist play during the course of our stay here.

We ordered the alligator fritters as our appetizer and catfish poh boy with a burger that had all kinds of galore in it.

The food was fantastic, very delicious. The alligator fritters was phenomenal. It’s rare to find a bar/restaurant to offer alligator in this area as there aren’t any alligators or crocodiles nearby. It was well cooked, not dry. The dish presentation was cute.

The meal was very filling as the burgers came with fries or side salad. The poh boy came with the same option, but my mom ordered salad. The food portions were perfect.

The spot also offers a wide selection of alcohol, including many choices of craft beer. I highly recommend coming here to have a good time. It’s very causal.
