A really nice, different, and modern take on Chinese food. The items come in a newer, more reinforced, takeout container that pulls you back to the 1990s. Egg noodles are chewy and well cooked. Rice is medium to short grain and not too sticky. Also, it’s not overly sauced. Not salty, either. We had the spicy pork aka Born to be Wild, and a custom-made dish featuring shrimp. Sure the shrimp are smaller, but I’d rather have at least 15 small shrimp than 4 big ones. The ingredients ratio of the custom made dishes are well portioned, so nothing is overwhelming. It shows that the chef/lead there really cares about what he makes. The dishes are half base half topping/sauced stuff, so you get a good taste of base plus topping in every bite. It’s worth the price. My container was filled — No stingy filled containers here!
This place is primarily to go. The walls are lined with a bar shelf and a lot of high stools for eating in house, which is what I did. It was great to chill here while we ate and listened to the choice music. I wish the bar counters were a little deeper but it’s not a dealbreaker. Maybe one lower set for the handicapped/disabled and/or children, but that can be easily fixed at a later time. Great paint job, organized counter, extremely clean, and well maintained drink fridge. I didn’t check the restroom but I would assume it’d be spick and span considering this place didn’t have a crumb on the counters.
BTW: Those folks who complained over a year ago about flavor don’t know what they’re talking about. This isn’t your commonplace Chinese takeout and its painfully obvious by the menu, so don’t go here expecting those flavors at all. It wasn’t salty at all, too. The food isn’t boring, either; it sounds like a lot of hoopla if you ask me!
Give it a shot!

The food is delicious. I had the pulled pork egg roll and garlic beef lo mein. So good! The staff are friendly and the decor is awesome. The only thing is, I wish they had actual tables to sit down at. The bar type seating is okay but there’s definitely room for tables. Other than that detail, this is a great little Chinese restaurant. I really like it!
A modern take on Chinese take-out.
Elevated comfort food is the best way to describe this place + it won’t break the bank. First time trying it and it won’t be the last.
And as an added bonus the place is aesthetically pleasing. So make sure to grab some photos of the mural outside.

I gotta say I’m rather blown away by this place. The food was amazing, I got the Spicy Pork Chili, and it was amount the best Chinese foods I’ve ever had. The flavor was great and cooked perfectly. It was very filling and I highly recommend coming here if you have the chance.
The food was amazing. I drove all the way to Queens to go back there. I worked at the urgent care and I just decided to try this food out while I was at work and then I fell in love and they got the glass bottle sprite that taste amazing. I would definitely go back there when I get a chance. I wish there was something to just as good as that restaurant in the quality of the food was prepared just as good and queens. I hope I can find a place like that, but regardless, it’s worth going all the way out there just to get the food. Because I am more than satisfied with how it taste.
