I ordered lunch special of chicken and broccoli to go. The cashier was okay. She wasn’t very friendly — just took my order without any pleasantries. The food was okay. It wasn’t very flavorful or the best I ever had but, it was edible.

Kelly’s has long been our go-to Chinese takeout, but unfortunately, it’s not anymore.
The last few times we ordered have been disappointing, but we have continued to order because everyone can have a bad night. Well last night was the end of the line for me.
Beef lo main – dry & practically inedible
General tso chicken – just ok
Fried dumplings – dry, no dipping sauce sent with them
Beef with oyster sauce – bland and with the added bonus of black hair in it. And no….I’m a redhead, my husband is bald & our cat is white so it wasn’t one of ours.
So now we start our search for a new Chinese takeout fave in Bayside. Any suggestions?

Been going there for decades. Used to be the best. Recently however, it has been a huge disappointment. Food is undercooked, tasteless and yet prices have increased. Need to find a new Chinese restaurant.

I had something that I had not had before. General Tsao shrimp. It was very tasty and different than I had ever before.
Very nice people! and good food too!
