Local take out joint with authentic Hong Kong cafe style dishes as well as Chinese take out options. I see many non-Asian locals ordering from the more Westernized menu (take out). And a huge following by Asians in the neighborhood looking for inexpensive HK Cafe style food. The entrees are all reasonably priced and the food is solid. I liked the HK milk tea (contains condensed milk). And I enjoyed the steamed rolled rice crepes. They are vegetarian friendly. Cash preferred but card is accepted. Note: during the pandemic, their hours have changed, it’s currently 10am-8pm. Get there before 11:30am if you want to enjoy their budget friendly breakfast specials and sets.
The best price for Hong Kong Styles Food. The food is great. It gets really really busy during lunch time. So calling 40 min. ahead of time would be wise.
The homemade fresh beef ball is so traditional! Barely to have beef ball with tangerine peel in NYC.
The fried noodle taste good but the staff’s attitude is too bad.厨师师傅太臭串
Only 2 small tables for dining, not a good place to hangout, just for to go and order pick up business
If you want that cha chaan teng experience of HK, this is a excellent choice. I have been missing the HK and this is a good place to go if you want the same kinda food.
They have updated most their menus to have English now, so it is much easier to order. Have patience with the owner as English is not his first language. Point and choose on the menu works wonders.
Come in for some of their affordable breakfast sets. I am also a big fan of their steamed minced pork patty with salted fish or preserved vegetables for a classic Canto/HK dish for lunch or dinner.
Will come back again for sure.
