Reading through the reviews, I agree with one thing someone said….the prices (which have not surprisingly gone up again) do not match the quality. They now charge for containers too which should be included in their jacked up prices. 50 cents per container. What a joke.
I ordered the typical platter, breaded pork loin, and grilled steak lunch special. I love colombian food so I always look forward to eating it….but the pork loin and steak were dry and overcooked. Ive definitely had better Colombian food and for the future, I will just make the trip out to Jackson heights for authentic Colombian food…..for those prices that they are charging, first off, containers should be included…secondly, meat should be succulent and moist not dry and overcooked. Am I supposed to bring my own containers or leave the store with the food in my hands??? Stupid excuse and attempt to make more money….there must be a lack of business, thats why they’re charging a containers fee.
The fish was so,so fresh and delicious. French fries like from oven not from oil,amazing! Not much seasoning it was just my taste! Very light dinner I don’t need anything else. We had great service,food come fast and we upgraded for the combo affordable price! Thanks see you soon!
Came here for Fathers Day. To begin the food is not worth for the amount of money you pay. The fried food seems to be cooked in old oil and had a shiny look to it and doesn’t taste good. On top of everything, when you pay with card, they add an extra charge to your bill without letting you know. You find out once its already charged and you get your receipt. Not the worst place to eat but dont recommend it.
Disappointingly long wait: Our food took 2 hours to arrive, despite the restaurant’s explanation of being busy. More staffing for peak times would be ideal.
Overcooked and bland food: Unfortunately, the food itself was underwhelming. Every dish was overcooked, fried items were dry, and overall lacked flavor.
Not recommended: This was the worst Colombian food I’ve had in Queens. I recommend trying elsewhere.
Food had no flavor, ordered arroz con pollo they used the frozen vegetables chicken was hard to chew and they already added 18.95% service fee.
Big disappointment
