I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Cuban restaurant in Queens, and it was an absolute delight! The moment you step inside, the rustic atmosphere immediately transports you to Cuba, with meticulous details capturing the essence of the culture. The customer service was superb, with attentive staff and friendly owners who made us feel right at home.

The food was a true highlight, bursting with colorful and robust flavors that left my taste buds dancing. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the authenticity and passion put into every recipe. The prices were incredibly fair considering the exceptional quality of the food.

I also appreciate the friendly and welcoming hosting, creating a warm and inviting environment for guests. Knowing that there are various other locations owned by the same people only adds to the excitement, as it promises a consistent and exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of Cuba right in the heart of Queens!

I found a great place for drinks and live music. However, the food wasn’t authentic Cuban. I ordered the Ropa vieja, but it had a strange taste and my husband and daughter didn’t like it either. On the other hand, my husband had the chicken soup which wasn’t too bad and had a lot of veggies in it. The drinks were too sugary and weak. Despite this, the live music was enjoyable and the scenery was nice.

Been there a few times. Food and service is always excellent. Unfortunately, when they are mobbed on the weekend, I don’t think the kitchen can handle the crowds. There were 5 of us, 2 of us got our main course and the others got theirs 13 minutes later. Our salads came without dressing. One order came without the tostones (which was included). They finally brought them but charged us extra on the bill. We waited for our bar drinks 10 minutes or more. Definitely go to eat here, just maybe on a less busy day.

Dined at The Cuban Restaurant and was treated to an exquisite food experience! Started with the guacamole and chips plus the Croquetas Cubanas – crispy fried potato croquettes filled with serrano ham and slathered in habana sauce, both were incredibly tasty. For the main course, I had the Arroz con Pollo a la Cazuela, a delightful dish of boneless chicken sautéed in sofrito sauce, merged with chorizo, peas, olives, and nestled in saffron-infused caldera rice – hot, flavorful, yet not spicy, and cooked to perfection. My husband enjoyed the Palomilla could use a little more flavor , a prime beef delicacy thinly sliced and marinated in garlic and lime juice, topped with caramelized onions and cilantro, paired with white rice and black beans.

The service was excellent, adding to the memorable dining experience. Special touches like the lady who takes and prints pictures on Fridays and Saturdays, and the Costa Rican singer with an amazing voice that electrifies the dance floor, really set this place apart. a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal and lively entertainment.

I ordered the famous Cuban for lunch yesterday. I ate half of the sandwich, which was excellent. I saved the other half for today’s lunch, and to my surprise, the other half was all fat. There was no meat, just one big lump of pork fat. For a $20 plus sandwich, which I would expect better quality.
