Love the pizza logs here. Can’t get them back home in California. Also, we tried the wings for the first time here. Oh man they were so good.
My Fiance and I came from Middleport to Batavia original. She order a small taco pizza they made it special. I had a Italian meat calzone. Both where so delicious 😋. You got try this place out everything is big portions and friendly waitress that attends to her tables. Good job everyone 👍
First off I want to say that the food here is delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal. When it comes to service, sadly we got the wrong server that night. Any time we needed anything, it took 10 mins for them to get it to us. We were observing other tables that had different servers and they weren’t waiting as long as we were for their items. It felt like they didn’t care about our experience and giving us the respect we deserved. We respected them. I told my wife we will order from here, but only for take out.
I always consider it a treat anytime we get to visit Batavia and stop in at Batavia’s Original. I would almost consider it a religious pilgrimage as I’ve been coming here for many years! Our server “Sasha” was AMAZING, we came in close to closing time,.. and not once did she ever make us feel pressured in finishing our food so they could close up! I LOVE this place, and I wish the ‘supposed’ franchise locations in Rochester would take note and make pie the way Batavia’s Original (the original Pontillo’s),… does. I definitely recommend this place for quality food, a hometown atmosphere, with extremely reasonable prices!! Thanks again for the great experience!
Service and food was great! The antipasto was a meal in and of itself!
