We’re so excited to have this restaurant back in town! We ordered the oysters, mushroom toast, Caesar salad and branzino, everything was delicious. Ambiance is beautiful, great spot for a drink/meal at the bar or on the terrace. Looking forward to going back.
The food was fantastic, the caeser salad was excellent, the smash burger was perfectly cooked and filling, and the banana pudding was incredible. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. My only criticism is we sat outside and there were not enough umbrellas to properly shade all the tables, an overhead patio shade would go a long way.
Wonderful new version of this restaurant! We were there for their 4th of July event and will definitely be going back. The food was delicious and the wait staff was super attentive.
Sat us over an hour after our reservation. Waiting at the bar took us over 45 minutes to get a drink. When confronting the manager his excuse was “they didn’t want to ruin the people that were sitting at our tables experience…. I guess our experience wasn’t important. Once actually seated the door was mediocre at best. For the price this restaurant charges you’ll get a much better experience elsewhere. Go to farmer and the fish in Purdys better food better service nice staff.
Wow, just wow! In all of the NYC suburbs (Westchester, Rockland, etc etc), there’s no restaurant better than Bedford Post Tavern. It’s rare to transport city-level quality, taste and aesthetic an hour north, but the team that recently took over the Bedford Post Tavern did just that.
Food was excellent, service was hospitable and kind, and the creativity was off the charts, all while having an easy and effortless mood and environment.
We will be back over and over again.
