Good tasty food. Drinks were flavorful and made well. Better to go as a couple than as a party of four. The portions, are TINY; couple of tablespoons at most. Even the “shareable plates” are the serving size you would typically expect for tapas. We were joking that we would be going to Little Vincents down the block for pizza after leaving the restaurant. That being said, we actually DID eat when we got home. We left hungry. We felt we ordered quite a bit; about eight or nine plates. They gave us an extra side of french fries. I think this was in error though because the server didn’t know anything about it, he just let us keep it on the house. Why didn’t we just order more? Because we honestly also felt that despite how delicious some of the the flavors were, it was overpriced. We couldn’t see ordering more tiny plates. One more thing I should mention are the drinks. Though the drinks were interesting, smoke pouring out, great effect, we felt that the server was pushy about getting more drinks. He must’ve asked 50 times. I appreciate the upsell, BUT. The other reviews mention waiting for the food for a really long time, which is accurate. I have a feeling that’s because the restaurant wasn’t busy, they were pushing drinks since the mark-up is substantially more on drinks than with food. It was only half capacity at best. So, four stars on mostly the food and drink flavors, though I would really score this under 4 stars overall. I’ve never wanted to eat at home after going out to any restaurant, including for tapas.

Delicious food and interesting cocktails. Most of the drink menu seems to be original – I’ve never seen a lot of them anywhere else. Bartenders are really cool. I started coming here because my friend recommended it and it’s starting to become a regular spot.

I recently dined at the last word and had a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional from the moment I walked in—friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the last word for anyone looking for a great meal and top-notch service in Huntington . I will definitely be returning!

The Last word is by far the best cocktail bar in Huntington. Whether you’re looking for a classic or something new and creative they will absolutely serve! The food is excellent as well and the service is outstanding, my husband and I frequent this spot for a date night and will continue to enjoy it! 10/10
