This is a review for two different experiences. I came for lunch one day, then for the Mothers Day brunch buffet.
Walking in, one is met with an older building with a new coat of paint. It’s nice, but dusty. Vents are quite filthy.
During my lunch visit, it was nearing 80 degrees and was asked if I wanted to sit inside or out. I asked for inside since I knew the windows could be opened and the breeze would be nice. I was told no, the windows could not be opened. It was about 100 degrees in the dining room. I opted for outside. The sun cooked us for about two hours because the umbrellas couldn’t be shifted. I ordered a $30 cheese plate and received 1 strawberry, a raspberry vinaigrette for a salad, 6 paltry grapes, and some very small slices of cheese. And some crumbs from a container of mixed nuts. It was not very good nor worth the price or the wait. I also had the kale pizza and it was actually extremely good. It just took forever to get and we all got burned by the sun. ($200 for 4)
During the Mothers Day buffet, we were told there was no place for us to sit. I’m sorry? I made a reservation a month ago and we are on time. All the servers were running around with hot trays and stressed and frazzled. They tried to set up an extra table in middle of the the walk way and we asked for the open table next to it. We were told that it was for a later reservation, and to come back later. Eventually we were given that table. Now… I am really forgiving with food, I know the stress of it. This was horrible. $75? Does not include drinks. $17 for a Bloody Mary (they put it on my recipt for $13 for one and $17 for the other, when this was mentioned they said they would take it off then changed both bloody Mary’s to $17.. the highest drink on menu was $15). $14 for a small mimosa. The food was soggy, cold, dry, and absolutely awful. Even the desserts were bad. How is stuff cold when noon was the first time slot?? There were no eggs, only an omelette station where you could wait on line, in everyone’s way, to get 50/50% eggs and oil. And have it taste like everyone else’s omelette. I did not want to be negative but this was an insane disappointment. At least put flowers on the table.
Insanely overpriced, horrible service, horrible food. You need new managers or SOMETHING. This was a total waste of money ($600+tip!!!!!)
I won’t be going back here. To assume the servers are earning only tips is sad, because all the money isn’t going back into the food!
Had a great experience tonight for a birthday party! the food was incredible! we got oysters and burgers and the scallops. Highly recommend. Our waitress Jules was absolutely incredible. The most friendly, smart, well mannered waitress I have ever had.

Disappointing dinner tonight. The wait time for our meal was ridiculously long. When our order arrived it was not only wrong but one meal was poorly plated. The piece of salmon was not only small but looked like it was tossed upside down on the dish. It was not appealing at all. The side of mushrooms was unbelievably small and the other side was left out. Our waitress was amazing and kept apologizing. The manager was helpful as well. However, I doubt I’ll return which is unfortunate because being on the water with live music is really nice. I hope they can make some improvements to win people back.
The staff definitely makes this place! We were greeted with all smiles from our server Alexa and busboy Luke. Alexa was so friendly and accommodating! The view and atmosphere are some other highlights. Just had a few drinks and appetizers. The food was ok… could be better for the price point. We’d try it again based on how we were treated by waitstaff during our visit!
