Went to the Rome location at 910pm. I order a burger (well done) and my son ordered steak (medium well). When we got our food, the burger was still pink in the middle and the steak was bleeding and still raw. I sent the steak back for a new one to take home since everyone else was done with their meals. Our server, Erin, was FANTASTIC! Very polite, attentive and apologetic (they need more servers like her!!). Anyways, Food went into the fridge for lunch the next day as my son didn’t feel like eating. Next day comes to warm up the food, I start cutting the steak up for my son. only to realize, that the steak had a “use by sticker” cooked into the steak. Not 1 found, but 2 stickers (so I think the 2nd one was a sticker and not plastic). The steak went Into the trash and I called applebees to inform them and the female manager was awesome and made it right!! They really should find some new cooks for this location because someone is going to get very sick from eating that food.
Everything we ordered was very good. We had the tasting platter and garlic parmasean chicken wings for appetizers. I had the Bourbon chicken and shrimp. My daughter had the a Tortilla cheeseburger. Heather was out server. She was fantastic. Polite, courteous and attentive. All in all, we had a lovely meal.
The food was awesome! Everybody enjoyed their food from steaks to salmon to vegetarian plate. The surface was right on point and very attentive. Love the atmosphere it’s very quiet and cozy. We had a great time, and our waitress was very accommodating to all our needs for a party of five!
Cramped and fatty meat. I tried having my food doordashed but I get the fattest meat ever. I hoped going in person would change that. I was wrong. My cats love it. This place has really gone down hill. Crappy servings poor quality food topped with a cramped atmosphere.
