Newly opened, but by the quality of our meal, they will be open for many years to come. Where else in the North Country can you find homemade corned beef hash? Delicious! I had the Hasbrown Skillet (with a side order of hash) topped with over easy eggs. I had to take half of it home with me, very filling, and so good! Right now this establishment is cash only, but luckily they have an ATM inside ($2.75 fee) and are next door to DFCU (good for us locals). Despite being busy (they just opened a few days ago) the service was excellent and reminded me of the days when the Homestead was open here, many years ago. With the long standing history of the building and the many happy memories I have of eating here as a child (when it ran as the Homestead) I am very happy to see this place has finally fallen into the right hands, congrats Penny! We will be back again soon, and can’t wait to try everything on the menu!
Fantastic food and a friendly staff. You will not go home hungry because the portions are HUGE !!

The meal came out quick but I was slightly disappointed in my Belgian waffle. It was cold, hard and had no flavor. The waitress was friendly when she took our order but never checked on us until she brought the check.
The ladies took over our kitchen at Alstom recently and have done an amazing job. They build relationships with the team members, create a welcoming and warm atmosphere, and treat us right. The food is top notch, and don’t forget free coffee or water with your breakfast 😉
