Had a fun and relaxing weekend lunch with friends. Beautiful atmosphere and attentive service. I’ve been coming here since my college year (over 30 yrs). I’m local so whenever I meet friends or entertain guests from out of town, this is the place to go.
Outdoor dining on the water is amazing.
Food is ok. Baked clam is always good, but fried zucchini was too greasy. Salad was well dressed, and my friend’s chicken cutlet came with lots of mixed salad on top.
Pastrami Ruben sandwich was huge. Flavor was average.
Drinks were great! Had lots of beers and wine. We had a great time catching up with friends.
Came for a lunch on a beautiful sunny day. The power lunches my party ordered were unilaterally good. Darwin, our server, was attentive, professional and so helpful. He made our experience quite enjoyable. Thanks so much! Will be back!
Beautiful restaurant! As we entered we were greeted by Hector. Let me tell you he was the men. Hector is very professional and accommodating. He made us feel very welcome and confortable. We will definitely be back because the service and food was excellent!

We had an excellent time. The dockmaster and his staff were extremely on point, diligent, we docked smoothly. The staff were great, quickly set us up.
Service and food were fantastic! The menu is exactly what it should be, seafood and meat. The brussel sprouts were fantastic. My only disappointment was they happen to list an old, yet classic cocktail I’ve been waiting to find, but happened to be out of the creme de violete – understandable, it’s very niche liquor. The music felt too clubby at times, sort of mismatched with the rich appearance of the bar and classic staff dress. A mahogany bar in New York demands jazz.
Overall, we had a great time, and another thanks to the dockmaster and his staff.
I recently visited Louie’s Prime Steak & Seafood restaurant in Port Washington for a late lunch or early dinner with a friend around 4 PM. We were fortunate to get a table with a stunning water view. Our waiter, Karina, provided wonderful service, being attentive and available at just the right moments.
We started with crispy calamari as an appetizer, which was a generous portion, perfect for sharing. For our main courses, I had the grilled Scottish salmon, while my friend opted for the prime burger and sautéed mushrooms. The sautéed mushrooms and crispy calamari were large dishes, allowing us to share, but the main courses were smaller in size. Nonetheless, the food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
To accompany our meal, I had a passion fruit martini, and my friend had a margarita. Both drinks were excellent. For dessert, we shared a raspberry sorbet, which was a delightful end to our meal.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, with quiet music that allowed for easy conversation despite the presence of other diners. Sitting on the deck facing the water, we enjoyed watching boats come and go. The restaurant also offers the convenience of parking on the street or at paid parking right in front, with public parking available nearby. On our Sunday visit, parking was free, though the restaurant was quite crowded.
The restaurant has a room for special events, which was empty during our visit, and seating options both inside at the bar and outside on the deck. Despite the heat outside, we had a pleasant experience overall.
I would rate this restaurant 5 out of 5 for the excellent service provided by Karina, the delicious food, and the overall enjoyable atmosphere. While the meal was on the pricier side, costing about $90 each with tip, we were not disappointed and look forward to returning.
