The food here is always good and our most recent visit was no exception. The fried cheese curds and crispy Brussels sprouts were generously portioned and delicious. My companion’s surf-n-turf burger topped lobster meat and mornay sauce was fantastic, as were his order of mussels. Of note: this is the only place we’ve encountered that does not serve their mussels with a piece or two of bread (who doesn’t love to sop??) and we had to ask for some. The bread was cardboardy, cold, and seemed like a couple of old pieces off the salad bar. Not befitting of a pricier dish. Speaking of which, the mussels were MICROSCOPIC! Other than that, a very enjoyable meal on their sunny patio.
The drawback was the service. Our waitress was pleasant enough, but not exactly on the ball. Only AFTER we ordered did she mention there were Happy Hour specials. We would have ordered a little differently had we known there were any.
Lmao this is quite literally the worst place we’ve eaten at in Plattsburgh. If you like flavor, don’t come here. Ordered the steak, mushrooms, lobster mac and cheese and it was BLAND. Expect to use your salt and pepper. On a positive note, the salad bar is okay and the margarita I ordered was pretty good !
Nice place! I had a strawberry margarita and it was small not alot of alcohol in it.
My boyfriend had a mule and he said it was better than mine.
I ordered a glass of Riesling and it was the best!
We both got the petite ribeye and baked potatoes. The ribeye had a lot of fat but the taste was flavorful.
The salad bar was pretty good.
Taylor was a great waiter, he was attentive and super friendly!
Was seated near the bar area so it was a bit noisy. Not too bad at all though, good steamers…loved their salad and soup bar and the dessert was so big that two of us couldn’t even finish half! Would definitely go back again when in the area.
Very lovely place. Extremely nice salad bar. Need to reserve if coming before 5:30pm during the week.
