I just love coming here! Such friendly staff, and the food is always so fresh. I never have anything bad to say about this place.
The ambiance is perfect, the food comes out in a very timely manner and just an always pleasant experience!
The gyozas and rock shrimp are always the best appetizers.
One of the best sushi places I have ever been to. The quality is always great. You simply cannot go wrong with any kind of sushi rolls and the rock shrimps are to die for. Really good cocktails as well.
Best sushi spot in Astoria by far! The staff is so attentive and friendly. The food is AMAZING! It’s a very nice atmosphere as well. I’ve also had very good delivery experiences with them. It’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny! The best Kani salad in the world!

honestly this place was a rare find. did not know how beautiful it was actually inside. they cater to all types of people. they are very respectful. the atmosphere is just fantastic. food was on point. they have tons of vegetarian options and obviously if you love some crunchy nice delicious sushi this is the spot to go. and yeah, don’t forget this is a beautiful and perfect spot to take your date
I’ve been coming to watawa for about 4 years and have literally told all my friends to come here for dinner. We recently started doing takeout and the quality is going down. This is the second time I get the smallest amount of crab in my sushi. I am so disappointed that they are doing this because it’s $20 for a roll, this is really not fair nor profesional. I am hoping this never happens again or I will have to stop ordering from here.
