I hadn’t realized this place was open yet, so I just got some house special dumplings to go. Less photogenic than the interior of the pretty restaurant, but very succulent & delicious.
Ordered fried shrimp dumplings. It’s an extra $2 for it to be fried. The dumplings were only fried on one side. If I have to pay extra for my dumplings to be fried I would expect them to be fried all around and not just one side. The dumplings were flavorful. The soy sauce a bit salty for my taste. But that’s just preferential.
the restaurant looks very nice but the quality of the food does not match the price i got dumplings that tasted like meatballs and reminded me of frozen pot stickers i had gotten in the past and i was very disappointed. ramen was okay but not worth $20. the employees stared at me when i walked in and did not help me until their boss told them to, but the main problem is the quality of the food not matching the price. i know a lot more restaurants in the area that are more affordable for better quality.
My order was fried dumplings, brown sugar boba tea and a matcha crepe cake,
Dumplings were delicious and the soy sauce was amazing. Crepe cake was yummy too! My drink was a bit to sweet but I have a sweet Tooth so It’s all good! Recommend this place! ⭐️
So delighted there are finally great dumplings in Poughkeepsie!! We were very impressed and we’ll be back often. If you order your dumplings fried, they do the proper crispy dumpling skirt—it’s well worth the extra $2! (I don’t know of any other places in the area that do the dumpling lace.) We were delighted at how flavorful the vegetarian dumpling filling is. Also, the boba and cheesecake are delicious. Can’t wait to try the vegetarian ramen.
