I went with my husband yesterday. Granted it was the day before New years Eve, however, that doesn’t excuse dirty utensils. It was just as cold inside the diner as it was outside. The server was nice but I think he was tired so he had low energy. He kept forgetting things in our order. The lettuce for my burger had brown patches. The salmon burger didn’t have flavor. The seat was dirty. I had to clean it before I sat down. The place was calm but it was late. I wouldn’t refer anyone there or go back. The best thing I had was the tostones.
I had to go to the Diner because I just wanted a salad since I landed in NY Wednesday night…that’s what I’ve been buying here for years. I always enjoy coming to the Royal Coach. It’s clean, busy, and has excellent customer service. Justina and Angelica made it a great visit for me yesterday. Angel is amazing. Angel made my visit especially perfect. So to sum this up for you, Angel, Angelica & Justina are very helpful, kind and awesome employees you have working here. Thank you all for keeping a smile on your faces & mine… you all made my day. The cake was totally great as usual. Thank you for still being open for so many years. I will continue to come here and refer others to always visit or be a regular customer.
Not your typical diner. They offer Caribbean, Latin, Italian and traditional American cuisine with their own special spin. Like the seafood pot pie, jerked kingfish , or the lamb shank.
I ordered a Royal Coach omelette with home fries..it says carmalized onions, however there was nothing about the onions being carmalized, also its was very chunky…service was superb, staff is very friendly and attentive to ur needs..however they can do better with the “carmalized onions”
