Came here with my daughter on a whim. Henry’s has an amazing small-town diner feel, and incredibly reasonable prices. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was exactly as I would expect (and appreciate) from a local diner. We ordered standard diner lunch fare, which was delicious, but the specials and dinner menu also looked incredibly delicious. Can’t wait to return.
The food is amazing, and it is remarkably inexpensive. The staff is so friendly. The place feels like a small hometown diner you see in movies, because it is! Their wings are GREAT! Breakfast is good as well, the waffles are my go to with a western omelet.
If you’re looking for a well priced casual meal, look no further. The menu prices were extremely reasonable, especially considering the current economy. This is quite appreciated. The food was good, but nothing I’d write home about. As always, that’s only considering what was eaten. I have no complaints though, because of the great prices. I’m not expecting 5 star dining here.
What really shines is the atmosphere for Henry’s. It’s obvious that for many locals, this is a daily visit. It was very casual and chill. The waitress was kind and listened.
It’s a pretty small dining area, but you can order food to-go if you don’t want to risk feeling crowded.
So, in short, make sure to add this as a quick stop on your travels. It will be light on your pocket book and you’ll have lots of options depending on your mood for what to eat.
A gem. If you are traveling via I88 this is must stop. Food was amazing. Small hole in the wall restaurant. .
A true “Hole-in the-Wall” diner that’s not flashy and has great food at a good price, attentive service and the crowd was so loud I turned my hearing aids off. And it was quick off and back on the Interstate. Highly recommend.
