Great neck diner is such a great diner. It’s got a huge but solid menu with all the things you’d expect at a diner and some. The staff are attentive and super nice! The pancakes are amazing and their cheesy omelette is divine.
This diner was fabulous! Several staff took care of us. Very prompt! Everyone in my group loved the food. I had a turkey burger.
1- Food = 2.5/5. Average. Breakfast was very average. Pancakes were flavorless and their homemade corn-beef hash was definitely a disappointment.
2- Service = 3/5. Average. Service was good up until the point wear we ordered eggs over well and it came back over easy. Not a problem because we never complain but the waitress noticed, mentioned it under her breath and didn’t fix the issue.
3- Ambiance = 3/5 Average. Inside and out nothing special.
4- Reservations = 5/5. None needed but expect to wait a bit on the weekends because this seems to be the only diner in the area.
5- Value = 2/5. Below Average. Not realizing this was a good part of Long Island we expected more from this local diner. Will not recommend and if I’m in this area again I will try a different place.

Stumbled upon this place after having an appointment near by. I was highly impressed by the friendly employees. Everyone was welcoming which made my dining experience superb. The coffee was kept refilled. The brunch chicken and waffles were fabulous! The corn beef hash was on a different level. Everything was fresh and tasty. I definitely added this place to my favorite list. Can’t wait to go back.
Pretty typical diner. We are visiting the area from PA, and a friend suggested walking to breakfast here. Opened at 9am and we arrived around 9:15am. It was almost empty as you can see in one of my pics, but wow, did it fill up fast soon after! That’s when our service really slowed down. But all employees there were very nice. Food was what you’d expect. We liked their coffee. Surprisingly inexpensive for NYC / Long Island. Good find, and I’m sure better than our hotel complimentary buffet breakfast.
