This place is so cool with a collection of cakes and homemade goods. The coffee I wish was a little less bitter, but over all everything we had was delicious. It is a bit pricey, but worth the extra.
The food is great I don’t think they have anything that is not good. And the girls behind the counter are just wonderful even though you know they’re tired they still smile I appreciate that when you walk in you expect the smell of bread cuz it’s Edgar’s Bakery but no fresh bread to make your mouth water with hunger. They do have breads just not the kind granny used to make some of the people there the customers they kind of seem uptight maybe it has something to do with my long gray hair and white beard old people love cupcakes I must warn you it’s not a weekly treat it was $37 for six cupcakes four orange rolls but they did give us two free cupcakes not to mention all that sugar. I have never asked but does anybody know can you order the orange rolls and cinnamon rolls without the frosting?
Loved everything here! The spinach feta pastry was to die for! The fruit was perfectly ripe. Enjoyed our veggie omelet and eggs benedict. Took home a cannoli for later and it was so good! Definitely coming back.
Edgar’s is one of the most photogenic places in Trussville. It seems that at any angle it looks great and can be used in both formal and casual pictures for your occasions. Located right by the new entertainment district, it is a great place for a cup of coffee and a solid breakfast. The place is clean and efficient when getting food orders in and done. My only problem is that the pricing can be a tiny bit steep, but the experience makes it worth the trip.
Our first time visiting this location to try their sandwiches. The Reuben came with chips and fruit. Nothing special that stood out from other fresh sandwiches, but overall, everything was good. Nice atmosphere and very clean inside and out. You can’t go wrong with any of the deserts that are made!
