I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect cake for my wedding day!! I didn’t have to stress setting it up either Linda took care of that for me! Even if she’s not feeling the greatest she makes sure her customers are taken care of. It’s better than I imagined!! We saved the top tier for our 1 year and even then it tasted just as fresh!. Already planning out next order, everyone loved it!
Linda is a goddess and I cannot thank her enough!! She came to the rescue when my son told me last minute he wanted a German Chocolate Cake for his Birthday!! She delivered it in time and OMG it is the best cake Ever!!

If I could give this woman 7 out of 5 stars, I would.
There I was, looking for a last minute Mario themed birthday cake for my 6 year old’s party when the previous baker got sick and could not complete our order at the last minute. I called everywhere and they were all booked 6+ weeks out. His party was in 3 days from that moment! No one wants another Walmart or Publix cake bore, so I got on the phone.
I left a message with Cakes by Design, and she returned my call and said she would make time to get this done before the party. I told her ‘Mario-themed,’ and within minutes she said she found a template she liked.
She even finished the cake early and it was way larger than I thought it would be.
She got the dark chocolate, texture, topping and ornaments perfect! Our son loved his cake and was so happy to have his Mario Birthday party in full themed style.
The level of detail in the decor was exquisite. She must have taken a great deal of time working with meticulous hands to pull that off. Veins on leaves, individually placed blades of grass, cute puppy eyes on the mushrooms—wow!

This was my first time working with this local business and I am far beyond impressed—so much so it outright brings a tear to my eyes to write this letter of recommendation.

Very disappointed! My mother purchased an almond flavored cake for my baby shower and sent a picture of a cake she wanted her to go by on how she wanted the icing to look. It wasn’t almond flavored at all and the following pictures posted show what it looked like vs what it was supposed to look like. Completely embarrassing, considering it was a $100 cake. Not the taste or look at all that was requested.
Over all extremely disappointing experience. Owner not only never provided a cake or all my money in return. Paid for a birthday cake last Wednesday, the day of the birthday the following Tuesday she said she’d have the cake ready at 12pm. At 9am I reached out to make sure it would be ready and to get a picture of the cake. At that time she said it would be ready that afternoon and asked if I wanted a refund. I said no I would like the cake so my friend had his birthday cake. At 4:30pm that evening she finally let me know that she couldn’t do the cake. Way to late in the day for me to even go to another bakery. Then still as of right now she has still not given my my money back. Extremely unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend anyone let this woman just steal their money.
