5 Reviews on “Cafe Beignet of Alabama OB”
Cafe Beignet serves up some impressive beignets. They arrive piping hot, generously dusted with powdered sugar, and boast a delightful flavor. I complemented my treat with a satisfying cup of coffee, which also hit the spot. I’ll certainly be returning for more.
The beignets are absolutely incredible! The young lady at the counter is very attentive and nice, but not overly so.
We waited over 10 mins for fresh beignets, but I understand, they were fairly busy and we had at least 4 orders ahead of us (1 was call ahead, and he walked right in to pick up his order – highly recommended.)
Everything is made to order, so the beignets were hot and ready to eat.
The filled beignets are just vanilla pudding (as stated on the menu) but I wanted to try them anyway. Could have done without the filling. Very messy and just ok.
We also had regular beignets for my wife and she thoroughly enjoyed them.
One is not enough, 3 is too many, so I recommend getting 2 orders and find a couple of friends to enjoy them with!!
I have been looking for dome good Beignets since our trim to New Orleans. So when I saw this place I had to stop. The boys loved them as well, and it was a great value.
The beignets are good. The owner sat outside near the door and smoked a stinky cigar. Every time the door was opened the stink came in and ruined the experience. FYI: tab water costs 850 cent. You cannot bring your own water in your own cup in the store to save the world from having more styrofoam cups in the landfill.
Made fresh when you order & they are everything you want a beignet to be. Hot, fluffy, soft, sweet! The filled ones are really fun (we got vanilla) but we all decided the original beignet are the best!
